In this article, the effect of different parameters on the efficiency of the stone crushing circuit to reduce the soft particles below 30 mm of limestone on an industrial scale has been investigated. In this regard, after sampling all the streams of the stone-crushing circuit of Jajarm Alumina Company, a dimensional analysis was performed. In the following, the effect of ore loading and transfer parameters, feeding method amount of input tonnage to the primary and secondary jaw crusher, and removal of particles below 140 mm from the input feed on the number of fine waste particles below 30 mm were evaluated and tested. The results of the tests on an industrial scale showed that the role of loading and transporting ore in fine production is not significant and is less than 1%. Results showed that the total fine rate (-30 mm) of the circuit is 15.7% and 97.7% higher in the case of a super-choked chamber than when it is choked and under-choked. Also, the results indicate that the total product rate (+30-140 mm) of the super-choked condition is 7.6% and 24% higher than that of the choked and under-choked modes, respectively. Also, removing particles finer than 140 mm demonstrated that it causes a 40% increase in production and a decrease in size-specific energy (Kw) by around 26%. Improving energy efficiency could translate to more capacity and lower production costs
